Founding Designer - Headstarter
Location: Remote (US-based preferred)
Type: Full-time / Contract (flexible)
The Role
We're looking for a UI / UX Designer who can own and elevate the end-to-end design experience across Headstarter's consumer and B2B products. You'll be designing interfaces used daily by thousands of engineers nationwide and by founders actively hiring and evaluating talent.
You'll work directly with the cofounders, collaborating closely with:

This is a high-ownership role with real influence over product direction.
Designing scalable B2B workflows for founders and startups (candidate discovery, hiring flows, analytics, internal tools)
Translating ambiguous product ideas into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
Creating and maintaining a cohesive design system across multiple products
Collaborating closely with engineers to ensure designs ship exactly as intended
Rapid iteration based on user feedback, data, and founder input
What We're Looking For
Strong UI and UX fundamentals with an eye for clean, modern design
