Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle sales for mid-market accounts including discovery and negotiation

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide clear customer value
  • Help establish sales processes including CRM and forecasting
  • Prepare for the expansion of the sales team by defining processes and team targets

Full Job Description
The role

Sales at Sable is currently driven by the founding team: the playbook is documented, field-tested, and closing deals fast. You'll be the first dedicated seller, taking full ownership of deals in the ~$80k-$120k ACV range so the founders can focus on flagship accounts. This is founding-AE work: full-cycle, self-sourced plus inbound, no SDRs, no sales ops. In exchange, you get a category-defining product, strong reference customers, the ability to leverage whatever sales tools you want, and a direct hand in building out the sales machine.

What you'll do
  • Run full-cycle sales for mid-market accounts: discovery, live demo (with Aidan as your selling partner), POC scoping, negotiation, close
  • Execute and sharpen the documented playbook: highest-ROI use cases, objection handling, and competitive positioning against the previous generation of tools
  • Partner with engineers to scope POCs that go live in days, deliver clear customer ROI, and win signed contracts
  • Help define the sales machine (check-in cadence, CRM hygiene, forecasts and team targets) as additional members of the sales team join after you
