Full Job Description
Requirements

Rockstar is recruiting for a market-leading AI voice agent company for mortgage lenders. Founded in 2024, the company has grown rapidly and currently counts 5 of the 10 largest independent mortgage banks in the U.S. as enterprise customers. If successful, the company aims to reduce the cost of homeownership by ~1%. The company has raised $21M across Seed and Series A from top investors.

What You Will Do

The company's AI voice agents hold real conversations with real people, on behalf of some of the largest mortgage lenders in the country - around 600,000 calls a day. Its agents are critical to its customers' businesses and you'll be the connective tissue between the company and its customers, bringing learnings back to the rest of the team to shape where the company goes next.

Once a customer signs, you're the person who makes sure the company's solution actually works for them: owning the relationship from deployment through expansion, helping shape and refine agents, and defining success together. You'll cover both strategy and execution - guiding customers towards optimizing their agents for their particular needs and actually implementing those changes through Cursor and Claude Code.

What You Will Own
  • Lead end-to-end agent delivery - scoping, building, launching, and iterating on voice agents in production
  • Reshape agents around how a specific lender actually operates: conversation flows, edge cases, compliance requirements, and the moments a call should hand off to a human
  • Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your customers - understand what success actually means to their business and shape the plan that gets them there
  • Monitor account health proactively and get ahead of issues before they become escalations, while surfacing unmet needs and patterns back into the roadmap
  • Help define the playbooks and operating standards for this function as the company scales the team
What the Company Is Looking For

Must-haves:
  • A clear, effective communicator with real polish - you can deliver good news, bad news, and everything in between without losing a customer's trust
  • A track record of owning outcomes end-to-end in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment - not just executing a defined scope
  • Good data intuition - you don't need to be a SQL expert (Cursor can help with that!), but you should be comfortable looking at a dataset and knowing what it's telling you
  • A willingness to learn - no prior experience in AI is required, but you should want to go deep on a technical product

Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience working directly with customers or partners: agent deployment, agent strategy, strategic partnerships, technical account management or similar
  • Familiarity with mortgage, lending, or another regulated financial services vertical
  • Experience working at early stage startups

Benefits
  • Top-of-market medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents
  • 401(k) with a top-of-market employer match
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Snacks, weekly team lunches, and dinner on the company
  • Hybrid in-office schedule: four days a week together in SF, with a flexible remote day on Wednesdays
