Job Summary

SHI is hiring foundational Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver AI and data solutions. You will work inside customer environments, with their data and their stakeholders, to ship production outcomes on Palantir Foundry and AIP.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You will own technical execution on customer engagements, working alongside an Account Strategist and under the direction of a Technical Lead. You will not be managing a team. You will be building, deploying, and operating real solutions in customer environments from day one.

Role Description
  • Deliver production workflows, ontologies, pipelines, and AIP-powered applications inside customer Foundry environments
  • Integrate customer data sources (ERP, CRM, legacy systems, APIs) into Foundry and build operational workflows on top of them
  • Partner with the Account Strategist to translate business priorities into concrete deployment plans
  • Execute rapid-value deployments in the first 90 days of every engagement
  • Contribute to reusable templates and delivery patterns that scale across customers and verticals
  • Work directly with customer operational leaders and subject matter experts to refine and operate solutions
  • Support account expansion by surfacing new use cases during delivery
  • Work across priority verticals including manufacturing and industrial products, logistics and supply chain, financial services, and healthcare and life sciences

Skill Level Requirements
  • 2-3 years of direct, hands-on experience building and shipping production solutions in Palantir Foundry or AIP
  • Experience working inside customer environments with customer data and customer stakeholders
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Experience integrating enterprise data sources via APIs and connectors
  • Ability to design and operate scalable data pipelines and production workflows
  • Comfort with AI and ML concepts including LLM-powered workflows, ontology design, and agentic application patterns
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and operational customer stakeholders
  • Experience operating in fast-moving environments with minimal oversight
  • Based in Texas or willing to relocate


Other Requirements
  • Prior Forward Deployed Engineer experience at Palantir or at a Palantir delivery partner
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise systems
  • Experience building reusable accelerators or templates that scale across customers
  • Ability to travel 40%
