Description

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Pathology is seeking a Forensic Laboratory Technical Manager for the position of Instructor of Pathology at Dallas County, Southwestern Forensic Sciences Institute to design, review, evaluate, implement, and maintain laboratory technical and quality procedures to Pathology residents and fellows. Additional duties include ensuring adherence to technical processes and procedures, overseeing section quality management, and supervising professional, technical and administrative personnel involved in the development of new and/or maintenance and operation of existing laboratory technical and quality operations. Candidate will hold a full-time position with Dallas County, as well as a part-time position with UT Southwestern. A stipend will be provided for this part-time position.

Qualifications

The candidate must have a Ph.D. in physical sciences, biology, chemistry, or forensic science.
