Role Descriptions & Responsibilities
As an AI Engineer, you will be part of a team that focuses on the creation of AI/ML for fluids and the software that drives it on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. This will include agentic AI, machine learning surrogates, and intelligent meshing as well as scenario creation and results processing. Some of your key responsibilities include the following:
• Work with the latest technologies, helping to integrate our fluids applications into agentic AI assistants and machine-learning surrogate models
• Tackle interesting problems in scientific machine learning, which often touch on particular subject areas such as mesh generation and physics modeling
• Collaborate with other software teams to integrate with Dassault Systèmes' cloud platform and create AI/ML applications
• Follow sound software engineering practices. The code we write today will underpin our platform simulation products for years to come - it needs to be maintainable, extensible and robust.
• Make user experience a priority. We strive to make the complexity inherent in fluid simulations manageable by way of intuitive controls and straightforward workflows.
• Deliver high performance, since typical industrial cases involve the management of large amounts of data.
• Create a quality product, working with QA to ensure that the software is thoroughly tested.
Qualifications
• Masters or PhD Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience programming in C++ and Python.
• Experience with LLMs and state of the art ML/AI algorithms having demonstrated infusing these into CFD technology.
• Experience with CFD and fluid mechanics including prior use of commercial CFD software and knowledge of Navier-Stokes and LBM algorithms
• Ability to work independently.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
