Morrison Healthcare is looking for a hands-on Executive Chef with the creativity, leadership, and drive to deliver outstanding food and develop strong culinary teams. This is an opportunity for an energetic culinary leader who enjoys taking ownership, raising standards, and bringing fresh ideas to the table.
LOCATION & FLEXIBILITY:
The Orlando area is the ideal home base. This position will support accounts throughout the Florida region and requires flexibility to travel where business needs take you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Lead kitchen operations with a focus on great food, consistent execution, and a safe, organized workplace.
• Plan and execute regular and modified menus while maintaining recipe, portion, and presentation standards.
• Stay hands-on with production, taste food, and coach your team to deliver quality at every meal.
• Train and develop associates in culinary techniques, equipment use, food safety, and sanitation.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, production, and waste to control costs and keep kitchens running efficiently.
• Maintain audit readiness and compliance with company standards and health regulations.
• Partner with account leaders and clients to improve the dining experience and bring culinary programs to life.
WHAT YOU BRING:
• Five or more years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience.
• Strong hands-on cooking skills and the ability to lead, teach, and motivate a team.
• Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations, including batch cooking.
• Solid knowledge of food cost controls, production planning, sanitation, and presentation.
• Creativity and an understanding of current food and catering trends.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and computer-based operational tools.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Catering experience and ServSafe certification preferred.
