Job DescriptionMachinery and EquipmentServing as a true service hub for all our job site operations, the Machinery and Equipment Department is a key partner for the company. EBC owns one of the largest equipment fleets in Canada, with more than 450 pieces of heavy equipment, over 150 road vehicles, and a comprehensive inventory of small tools.
About 30 experienced employees handle the procurement, preventive maintenance, and repair of all equipment. The team works tirelessly and in close collaboration with the job sites to provide tailored solutions, safe and reliable tools, and the best possible equipment to achieve optimal productivity.
Join us!RESPONSIBILITIES1. Health, Safety, and Security Compliance- Support compliancewith all health and safety policies related to equipment use;
- Document andreport incidents, equipment failures, breakdowns, and corrective actions;
- Promote adherenceto regulatory and compliance standards across all assigned operations;
- Support theadministration and monitoring of CVOR requirements for Northec;
- Assist withobtaining and maintaining a CVOR certificate for EBC.
2. Fleet and Equipment Coordination- Coordinate theutilization of heavy equipment and fleet assets across Ontario operationsfor both EBC and Northec;
- Conduct regularsite visits to validate equipment condition, utilization, and compliance;
- Support equipmentavailability in line with project requirements;
- Maintain anup-to-date fleet inventory, including equipment condition, location, usagehours, maintenance history, registrations, and insurance information;
- Coordinate themobilization and demobilization of equipment between project sites;
- Support fleetoperations associated with Highway 407 projects and related activities;
- Prepare periodicreports on fleet condition, utilization, operational costs, and projectedneeds.
3. Maintenance, Repairs, and Monitoring- Coordinate withproject teams and superintendents regarding equipment availability formaintenance, repair, and inspection;
- Monitor preventiveand corrective maintenance activities, including major repairs, incollaboration with the Quebec garage;
- Provide support toservice providers performing equipment and light vehicle repairs;
- Monitor and ensurequality control of repairs completed by external service providers;
- Coordinate fleetregistrations and insurance coverage for heavy equipment and lightvehicles;
- Ensure compliancewith annual government inspections for road vehicles, constructionequipment, and lifting devices;
- Coordinate oilsampling activities in accordance with manufacturer guidelines andcoordinate analysis with external providers;
- Transmit oilsamples to Fluid Life;
- Process customerrequests related to maintenance and repairs of light vehicles, includingaccount setup and invoicing;
- Order parts andcoordinate with suppliers as required;
- Utilize the CMMSsystem (MIR-RT) to track and manage maintenance activities.
Requirements- Minimum 5 years ofrelevant experience in fleet coordination, heavy equipment operations,maintenance administration, or the construction industry;
- Strong knowledgeof applicable safety regulations and compliance standards;
- Working knowledgeof Ontario transportation regulations and fleet compliance requirements;
- Experience withCVOR administration and regulatory compliance;
- Solidunderstanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems for heavy equipment;
- Ability tointerpret technical reports, inspection reports, and maintenance records;
- Experiencecoordinating maintenance activities and working with external serviceproviders;
- 310A AutomotiveService Technician Licence, 310T Truck and Coach Technician Licence, HeavyEquipment Technician certification, or equivalent mechanical experience isan asset;
- Proficiency withCMMS systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Valid driver'slicence and willingness to travel to project sites across Ontario asrequired.
- Experience workingwithin the construction, civil infrastructure, transportation, or heavyequipment industry.

In accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation, EBC Inc. has included the expected salary range for this role, which is
$60,000 - $105,000. Compensation within the range is determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, localization, and internal equity. Base salary is one component of EBC's comprehensive total rewards offering, which may include performance-based incentives, extended health and wellness benefits, retirement savings programs, and career development opportunities.
