Firewall Engineer (Juniper Firewall SME)

30% travel
Two (2) positions available. 1st Shift.Levels 3 or 4.
Responsible for the configuration, deployment, and management of client's firewall solution in a 24x7x365 environment. Additionally, you will assist in monitoring, configuration changes, accounts, and software updates within the environment.
Develop, evaluate and manage systems security across the enterprise. This role requires technical expertise as a Network Engineer and Security tools, combined with the knowledge of security practices and procedures.
Maintain firewall operations and document current environment
Creation of technically detailed reports on firewall block lists, device status, change management, hardware/software upgrades, and other areas
Analyze and evaluate anomalous network and system activity
Assist in troubleshooting and problem solving a wide variety of client issues
Provide advanced network and digital media analysis expertise and defends against malicious activity targeting networks within the United States and abroad.
Work with the latest technologies that defend our Nation's cyber infrastructure.
Requirements
TS or TS/SCI required
30% travel
Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related technical discipline
Please note that Facility Security process can be 60 - 120 days with active TS and TS/SCI clearance
