Fire Suppression Service Technician 4

What you will do

Performs direct field labor work under guidance from Team Leaders and Managers Service project delivery. Work includes specialized knowledge in diagnostics and repair. Involves inspection and testing of fire sprinkler and suppression systems, intermediate repair and maintenance, safety and compliance, documentation and reporting, and customer communication and coordination. Includes O&M field labor support when necessary.

Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites. Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs,schematics,and operational product manuals. Manage daily servicecall, customeractivityand program system products. You will work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.

  • Assistcustomers with all questions and concerns ina timelyand professional manner.

  • Participation in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.

  • Performs inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.

  • Inspect customer systems

  • Use of Smart Phone and Equipment

  • May include government work

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $32.60 - $44.81 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
