This Fire Protection Engineer role involves little to no travel, enabling you to maintain stability and focus on your core responsibilities. Responsibilities- Review architectural / engineering designs and fire protection system shop drawings for over 50 buildings.
- Conduct construction inspections and issue final occupancy permits.
- Witness acceptance tests for fire alarm and sprinkler system modifications.
- Evaluate existing building conditions through life safety and hazard analysis surveys.
- Provide technical guidance using various NFPA codes.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related engineering field
- 2+ years of general experience in Fire Protection
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Veterans are also welcome to apply.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Desired Qualifications- Professional Engineer's License in Fire Protection
Basic Compensation: $105,000 - $110,000 yearly salaryThe salary range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
