Standard Job DescriptionThis role reports to the Senior Manager of F-35 Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and supports FP&A activities for the F-35 Program. The position plays a key role in helping the Program develop and execute its Long-Range Plan (LRP), providing financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, consolidation, and analysis of Orders, Sales, EBIT, and Cash forecasts across the F-35 program.
- Lead and/or support monthly financial outlooks, including analysis of actual performance, updated forecasts, risks and opportunities, and key business drivers.
- Support the Long Range Planning (LRP) process by developing multi-year financial projections, validating assumptions, coordinating inputs across stakeholders, and analyzing changes from prior plans.
- Perform detailed variance analysis across actuals, forecasts, plans, and prior outlooks to identify key drivers and clearly articulate the financial story behind performance.
- Analyze program financial trends and proactively identify emerging risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.
- Develop financial analyses and executive-level materials that communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Partner with Business Management, Accounting, Global Supply Chain and other functional stakeholders to ensure forecasts reflect the latest program assumptions and business conditions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy, understand underlying business drivers, and ensure alignment across financial commitments.
- Support cash forecasting and analysis, including understanding the timing and drivers of customer billings, collections, supplier payments, working capital, and other program cash impacts.
- Assist with recurring financial reporting, month-end close activities, and ad hoc analyses supporting program and Finance leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, reporting, and analytics to increase efficiency and provide greater insight into program performance
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college or 5 years experience in the absence of a Bachelors Degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products with emphasis in Excel
- Experience using strong analytical skills
Desired Skills- Effective communication skills; both verbal and written
- Experience with SAP and financial toolsets including Hyperion and Essbase
- Finance or Business-related degree
- Experience multi-tasking to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team environment
Pay InformationGeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $90600.00 - $168200.00

- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $81500.00 - $151300.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $72500.00 - $134600.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
- Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $65200.00 - $121200.00
- Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.
