JOB DESCRIPTION

Help shape how we price and forecast auto lending profitability at scale. In this role, your analysis will influence key assumptions that impact long-term loan and lease performance. You will collaborate across finance, treasury, pricing, and risk to align inputs, strengthen controls, and improve reporting. You will also support platform simplification and automation that make our processes faster and more transparent.

As a Financial Analysis Senior Associate on the Chase Auto Treasury team, you will work with stakeholders across finance, the Chase Auto business, and risk organizations. You will partner with Consumer & Community Banking Treasury, Chase Auto Pricing, and the Chase Auto CFO teams to analyze and align on pricing inputs to models and applications. You will also contribute to transformation efforts to simplify the platform and support price optimization.  You will support the Chase Auto Proforma reporting process, which reflects the lifetime profitability of loans and leases, and conduct analysis to support assumptions and forecasted inputs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support initiatives to enhance methodologies and forecasting of key inputs used in the Proforma process to optimize Chase Auto’s pricing
  • Execute components of monthly financial reporting processes and deliverables
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Pricing, CFO, Business, Risk) to analyze and align on pricing inputs to models and applications
  • Draft and maintain Business Requirements Documentation (BRDs) for technology teams; support intake, implementation, and change delivery
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to determine impacts on profitability driven by changes in the business or market
  • Prepare clear updates and presentation materials on the impacts of proposed changes to Proforma profitability for stakeholder and leadership review; deliver findings to a variety of audiences
  • Support process enhancement and automation efforts to reduce processing time and improve controls
  • Support governance and controls, including monitoring data integrity and participating in a robust testing environment

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related analytical field
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, analytics, accounting, FP&A, data/BI, or a closely related analytical role
  • Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly (e.g., drivers of profitability and impacts of assumption/input changes)
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, nested IF logic, and familiarity with INDEX/MATCH or equivalent approaches); ability to build and maintain repeatable analysis templates
  • Strong PowerPoint skills; ability to synthesize analysis into clear, leadership-ready materials
  • SQL: ability to run and adapt basic queries to pull, validate, and reconcile data (deep SQL expertise not required)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work across a matrixed, cross-functional organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
