You are:A leader in digital finance who combines Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and FP&A expertise with deep financial services industry depth. You understand how banks, insurers, or capital markets firms plan, forecast, and evaluate performance — and you know what it takes to move those functions from spreadsheet-driven, backward-looking processes to connected, AI-enabled operating models.
You are comfortable advising CFOs and senior finance leaders on transformation strategy, operating model design, and platform decisions. You're equally effective rolling up your sleeves to deliver. You bring the kind of credibility that comes from having done the work: designed driver-based planning models, led EPM implementations, and turned complex financial services data environments into clear, trusted insights that drive decisions.
The work:
- Lead Finance Reinvention engagements from strategy and operating model design through EPM platform implementation and agentic AI enablement
- Design and deliver driver-based planning, rolling forecasting, and variance analytics capabilities
- Advise on EPM platform selection and implementation with the ability to match platform fit to financial services client context and regulatory environment
- Architect and deploy agentic FP&A workflows that automate scenario generation, variance flagging, and insight delivery — reducing analyst effort and accelerating decision cycles
- Design Human + Machine operating models for finance functions — defining which work is owned by humans, which is executed by agents, and how the two operate together with clear accountability, audit trails, and escalation paths
- Translate complex financial services data environments — including regulatory constraints, actuarial models, treasury baselines, and segment-level P&L structures — into scalable planning and analytics solutions
- Manage engagement risk, project economics, and client relationships; serve as a trusted advisor to CFO-level and senior finance stakeholders, with the ability to clearly articulate trade-offs, business value, and implementation pathways
- Contribute to practice growth: lead and support proposals, develop client relationships, and help grow the P&PA pipeline within Financial Services
- Collaborate with Accenture's alliance partners to bring partner-enabled solutions to clients
- Mentor and develop practitioners; build the next generation of Finance Reinvention leaders in EPM and FP&A
- Maintain current knowledge of EPM, AI, and finance transformation trends within financial services, contributing to the development of reusable assets
Ability to travel up to 40–50%, commensurate with client engagement requirements
Here’s what you need:
- A minimum of 8 years of combined consulting and/or industry experience in finance transformation, FP&A, or EPM — including a minimum of 3 years in a consulting or advisory capacity
- A minimum of 5 years leading project teams and managing senior client or stakeholder relationships
- A Bachelor's Degree
Bonus points if:
- You have experience designing or deploying agentic AI workflows within FP&A or core finance — including driver-based scenario automation, variance commentary, or self-service reporting
- You have deep platform specialization in one or multiple EPM platforms, with implementation credentials or alliance engagement experience
- You have a track record in business development — proposal leadership, client origination, or alliance co-sell — within a consulting context
- You are familiar with financial services regulatory frameworks that shape finance and planning such as DFAST, CECL, RBC for insurance, or Basel/CRR and how these influence operating model and reporting design
- Demonstrated financial services experience — gained through consulting engagements with banks, insurers, or capital markets firms, or through in-house roles within a financial services institution
- Hands-on experience with one or more EPM platforms: Oracle EPM Cloud, SAP BPC or SAP Analytics Cloud, Anaplan, OneStream, or Workday Adaptive Planning
- Practical exposure to AI, GenAI, automation, or advanced analytics applied to a finance process — through a delivered engagement, a proof of concept, or a pilot
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience presenting complex trade-offs and transformation roadmaps to senior finance stakeholders
- You hold an AI or data certification (e.g., AWS, Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Azure AI) or have formal training in machine learning or advanced analytics
- You have an MBA or advanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- You hold a CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification
