About The Role
The Finance Operations Manager will lead the operational management and execution of financial workflows, including end-to-end month-end close operations, revenue deferrals, inventory reserves, and journal entry execution. Sitting at the core of day-to-day business operations, this role focuses on operational review, operational variance analysis, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong finance and operations background with proven leadership in managing operational relationships with external auditors, management consulting firms, and key enterprise technology partners.
What You Will Do
- Operational Reserve & Inventory Oversight: Perform operational reviews of quarterly RMA/RTV aging reports, obsolete inventory reserves, and warranty accruals (including V100 and HDD backorders), verifying failure-rate calculations and operational inputs.
- Operational Revenue & Cost Management: Oversee operational service revenue recognition, deferrals, and COGS reclassifications across service models (OPS2/OPS3), including platform-specific tracking for AMD MI300X and Helios.
- NRE & Settlement Execution: Drive operational cost tracking, deferred sales, and settlement workflows review for major enterprise tech client projects (e.g., Microsoft MI300C "Lunok" and MSFT MI455X NRE) using customer ops data.
- External Partner Collaboration: Serve as the primary operational lead interfacing with external auditors, third-party consultants, and tech customer teams to streamline operational workflows and support business requirements.
- Journal Entry Operational Review: Conduct operational reviews and validation of the data to support journal entries, reclassifications (including RTV CVC/VRC reclassifications and write-offs).
- Cross-Functional Workflow Management: Lead operational coordination across RMA, RTV, customer operations, engineering, supply chain, and Finance teams to resolve workflow bottlenecks and maintain timely close operations.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Operations, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in financial operations, supply chain operations, or operational accounting, with direct team leadership experience.
- 0-3 years leading and mentoring talent
- Deep hands-on background in operational reviews, month-end operational close workflows, inventory reserves, and revenue deferral tracking.
- Proven management experience collaborating directly with external audit teams, consulting firms, and enterprise technology clients on operational deliverables.
- Practical operational understanding of service model, failure-rate models, and inventory reclassification workflows.
- Strong command of enterprise ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and collaboration software.
- Strong operational problem-solving, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.

The typical base salary for this position is expected to be between $76,875 and $102,500.00 annually. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education, and/or certifications.
