Full Job Description
Finance Manager - Inventory Control to join our Finance & Accounting team. If you have a strong background in inventory, costing, controls, and manufacturing finance and enjoy partnering with Operations and Supply Chain, this could be a great opportunity for you. This role supports multiple sites and is responsible for inventory control, production costing, financial and operational controls, and business partnership across the network. You'll help strengthen transaction integrity, physical inventory practices, cost accuracy, working-capital visibility, forecast quality, and operational decision-making.

YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS MATTER

As Finance Manager - Inventory Control, you'll lead inventory-control and production-costing activities across the network. You'll oversee physical inventories and cycle counts, investigate variances, reconcile inventory and production transactions, maintain cost formulas, and analyze material, labor, overhead, manufacturing, and logistics cost drivers.

You'll partner with manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, accounting, and finance teams to resolve inventory and costing issues, strengthen internal controls, improve forecast accuracy, and identify cost-reduction and value-creation opportunities. You'll also prepare inventory, costing, and working-capital KPIs, support audits, standardize processes across locations, and provide coaching and technical guidance to project teams and operational users as assigned.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, operations finance, supply chain finance, manufacturing finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience with inventory controls, physical inventories, cycle counts, transaction reconciliation, production costing, and variance analysis
  • Experience partnering with manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, supply chain, and accounting teams
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large, detailed data sets
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial or operational reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, documentation, and audit support
  • Ability to support a multi-site environment and travel as business needs require
  • Experience in food or high-volume manufacturing, Power BI, standard costing, and certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CSCP are preferred.
