Global Prime Finance (GPF) seeks a Finance Manager to join the Lifecycle Engagement (LEO) team. This role is instrumental in providing customer engagement and spend insights to the World Wide (WW) Prime organization, as well as Amazon-wide business teams that leverage the widely adopted LEO framework. The LEO pillar exists to analyze and understand what makes customers join Prime and deepen their engagement with our products and services over time. This position will provide strategic Finance support to business and marketing teams to help them develop strategies that drive customer retention and deepen engagement with Amazon.

Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all-things LEO, this position will play a key role in deepening the understanding of our customers' behaviors, spend patterns, and benefit usage. This individual will be responsible for partnering with cross-functional teams to perform analysis, develop new metrics, and build forecasts/insights that support and drive strategic business decisions. Key job responsibilities

- Partner with the GPF Business Intelligence (BI) team to develop and scale LEO reporting, inclusive of P0s, CBR slides, and funnel views.

- Remove redundancies across existing reporting, deprecate low/no-usage reports, and fully automate MEC/QEC reporting.

- Conduct deep dives to identify, track, and understand trends related to customer engagement, retention, spend, and profitability across various customer cohorts and LEO segments.

- Provide thought leadership in the area of quantifying the value of distinct customer segments and behaviors.

- Develop new metrics that help understand members' holistic engagement with the program, and influence strategies to drive retention and engagement.

- Perform ad hoc analysis and deep dives to support the WW Prime teams with strategy development.

- Support the LEO 2.0 Bar Raisers by sharing segmentation insights and onboarding new BRs.

About the team

This position is part of a high-performing, fast-paced Finance team whose mission is to be the trusted strategic advisor to the business and the go-to source for an end-to-end understanding of the Amazon customer. This is a highly visible role within the finance team and requires strong partnership and communication.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field

- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience

- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of SQL/ETL

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)

- Experience performing ad hoc analysis using advanced Excel

- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
