Full Job Description
This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

OVERVIEW:

Glenmede is seeking a Finance Analyst to serve as a key strategic and analytical resource to the Chief Operating Officer. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of finance, operations, and people strategy-offering the opportunity to influence firm-wide growth initiatives, lead compensation design and administration, and partner closely with senior leaders across the firm. The ideal candidate is a strong financial modeler who can translate data into executive-level insights while also ensuring disciplined execution of core compensation processes.

This is a player-coach role with one direct report.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Finance & Growth Support
  • Partner closely with Finance leadership and the COO to support evaluation of growth opportunities, operational investments, and strategic initiatives
  • Contribute financial modeling and analytical support for business cases, scenario planning, and resource allocation decisions
  • Synthesize financial and operational data into clear, concise presentations for the COO and senior leadership audiences
  • Partner with business unit leaders to track and report on growth KPIs, identifying trends and surfacing actionable insights

Compensation Design & Strategy
  • Lead the design, development, and ongoing refinement of firmwide compensation frameworks, including incentive structures and long-term compensation programs
  • Partner with HR and senior leadership to ensure compensation programs are aligned with the firm's talent strategy and financial objectives
  • Advise the COO and business heads on compensation-related decisions for key hires, promotions, and retention situations

Compensation Administration
  • Own the end-to-end annual compensation review process, including cycle planning, system management, approvals workflow, and communication
  • Develop and maintain compensation reporting and analytics, including budget forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis
  • Ensure adherence to internal governance standards related to compensation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted resource for HR and Finance teams on all compensation-related matters

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Build strong working relationships with senior leaders across investments, private wealth, operations, and corporate functions
  • Manage and develop one direct report, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and continuous learning
  • Represent the COO's office in cross-functional projects, workstreams, and firm initiatives as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, compensation, corporate finance, or a related field within financial services
  • Demonstrated expertise in compensation program design and administration
  • Advanced financial modeling skills; ability to build models from scratch and stress-test assumptions
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills - able to distill complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Experience working closely with or supporting senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in wealth management, asset management, or professional services
  • Familiarity with incentive compensation structures common to financial services (long-term compensation, carried interest, revenue sharing)
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Prior experience managing or mentoring junior analysts
