DescriptionFinancial Planning and Forecasting Finance lead for Direct Procurement - develop and oversee the financial strategy for direct procurement, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Partner with Direct team on development of strategy to drive year over year Cost Savings.
- Prepare and communicate the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and annual savings targets.
- Manage the procurement budget and estimate departmental expenses.
- Review capital projects for compliance with Corporate Capital Control Policies and for adequate clarity of justification and reviews to ensure delivery of ROI
- Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting related to direct procurement activities including tracking and analyzing procurement costs, supplier performance, and market trends.
- Oversee direct materials spend. Monitor and analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Review PPV and Production Variances globally. Conduct analysis regarding the need for cost changes and ensure rollout as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Support Direct Procurement team savings projects via monitoring of savings vs targeted opportunity by project and communicate results monthly/quarterly.
- Drive Inbound Transportation standardized efficient closing practices on a global basis.
- Support Inbound Transportation savings projects through tracking of savings initiatives vs target and communicating results on monthly/quarterly basis.
Ensure consistency of reporting savings vs. added value (cost avoidances, NPL etc). - Drive enhanced TPM and dTPM reporting to provide actionable insights across the Manufacturing landscape.
- Monitor third-party partners' expenses, invoicing, and savings to ensure alignment with contracted savings delivery.
- Collaboration and Business Partnership
- Support the Direct teams to provide sound internal financial controls environment.
Qualifications- Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance or Engineering, MBA Preferred
- At least 7 years related experience
- Excellent business partnering, influencing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment and comfortable with ambiguity
- Deep understanding of direct procurement processes, transportation logistics and cost optimization strategies
- Expertise in developing, managing and reporting on budgets and forecasts
- Advanced ability to conduct thorough analysis related to procurement costs, supplier performance and market trends
- Strong leadership to guide financial strategy and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Pay Range:The anticipated base salary range for this position is
$120,550.00 to
$208,200.00. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
