Sr. Business Manager

Location: Marietta GA

What You Will Be Doing:
The Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM) Line of Business is seeking a Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Senior Manager to support the AMMM Development portfolio in an onsite role in Marietta, GA, reporting directly to the AMMM VP of F&BO. The AMMM portfolio includes international and domestic sales across the C-130J, P-3, and C-5 platforms, with this role providing strategic and tactical financial leadership across multiple development efforts, including Diminishing Manufacturing Resources (DMS), Special Missions, and major Key Investment activities. The Senior Manager will lead operational excellence and financial execution by overseeing financial controls, reporting, planning, and analysis; leading a team of business analysts; and partnering with Program Management, Finance, CAMs, and other cross-functional leaders to drive cost-effective outcomes. Responsibilities include monthly financial reporting and analysis, EAC, CSR/LRP planning, scenario and sensitivity analysis, IBR and PAR performance reporting, and identification of financial trends, risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to support senior leadership decisions. The role will also oversee team development, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and career progression while leading financial activities related to contract negotiations, cost proposals, and partner discussions. Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop and implement innovative solutions to improve cost efficiency, schedule performance, and overall program execution while evaluating and prioritizing strategic business initiatives in partnership with program and functional leadership.

Works in the Finance and Business Operations organization supporting program/product areas. Responsible for driving business results for a major program or portfolio of programs by integrating data from various teams including program finance, master planning, estimating, contracts, engineering, supply chain and other functions. Manages short and long-range financial and program performance internally and externally. Internal financial management includes contract orders, sales, profit, cash, capital expenditures and overhead costs. External management involves earned value management, program budget baselines and program performance reporting including estimates at completion. Assess issues, risks and opportunities that affect business portfolio/program performance and help develop associated action plans in coordination with program management. Interface and partner with external customers and internal stakeholders. Supports new business pursuits in development of executable and competitive proposals. Plays a key role in strategic business case development and analysis to support financial and operational decisions such as business integrations, enterprise investments, financial system/application strategies and other critical activities. (for the Leader only description) Responsible for managing a team of finance professionals and coordinating employee recruitment, talent development, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Travel up to 25% may be required.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience with leading, motivating or mentoring a diverse team of Program Finance professionals in a dynamic program environment.
• Experience using business acumen with proven experience in strategic thinking and tactical implementation.
• Experience with enterprise-level cost management tools (SAP, Cobra, etc.).

Desired Skills
• 12 years of experience in Finance demonstrated increasing responsibilities over that period
• Strong leadership skills and proven management experience to lead a F&BO team working across the enterprise, collaborating with and influencing others.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex business information. developing and presenting data analysis to senior leaders
• Strong acumen, leadership, and track record in cost management and creative business solutions including LRP & Financial forecasting and planning experience

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $134900.00 - $250500.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
