Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electronic machinery issues.
  • Conduct audits and preventative maintenance on capping machines.
  • Install and commission new capping machines at customer sites.
  • Diagnose machine issues, replace defective parts, and reassemble machinery.
  • Provide training for customers and coworkers on equipment use and maintenance.

Full Job Description
On a given day, you may

Perform all duties in accordance with safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safety-focused work mentality.

Set up and adjust machines, in the field and in our ECS facility, to equipment specifications.

Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically.

Perform checks and setup of capping components for proper operation.

Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance on Cappers. Install, commission, and set up Cappers in customer facilities.

Install, commission, and set up new Cappers in customer facilities.

Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines.

Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting.

Changeover and setup change parts running clearance and timing.

Complete service reports timely.

Provide training to customers and coworkers alike.

Follow good assembly practices while performing job duties.

Travel, sometimes nights and weekends, up to 80%, depending on location of team member residence. Schedule may fluctuate due to business need/priority, any change to schedule will be provided at least 2 weeks in advance.

Cross-training is an expectation and when applicable, provide training to customers and coworkers alike.

When not traveling on a job, working and contributing to duties onsite at any Bevcorp facility is up to the managers discretion. Engage in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support our internal operations, led by the internal department leader.

Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSO's, Near Misses, etc.).

4-6 years Capping service experience a plus.

Minimum two-year technical school training in related field preferred.

Basic computer, including iPad and smart phone, skills such as use of email, Word, Excel, etc.

Experience serving customers and working as a team to achieve success.

Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry preferred.

Valid U.S. Driver's License.

High level of dedication to safety and quality.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts.

Passion to deliver results on our customers' needs.

Ability to adhere to all JBT values.

Ability to travel outside of the US.

Ability to lift, carry, move, etc. up to 50 pounds.

The estimated pay range for this role is $35.00 - $45.00 an hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
