Field Service Engineer - CNC & Industrial Machinery

Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 + BenefitsType: Full-Time | Travel-Based

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to join our team in Nashville, TN. You will work independently from your home base, providing expert support for advanced CNC Lathes and Machining Centers. This is a hands-on role where you will be the "go-to" technical expert for our customers.

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, software, and hydraulic/pneumatic issues on CNC machinery.
  • Install & Test: Perform post-installation testing to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Train & Educate: Conduct on-site training for customer operators on machine function, maintenance, and safety.
  • Document: Accurately log service activity, diagnostics, parts, and resolutions.
  • Travel: Manage a regional travel schedule with regular overnight stays to support customer sites.

What You Need
  • Education: 2-year technical degree (mechanical, electrical, or machine tool technology) or equivalent military technical experience or demonstrated experience in the maintenance field.
