Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Electrician
• Technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is a plus
• 5+ years in field service roles
• Hands-on with high voltage equipment (up to 800kV)
• Knowledgeable in electrical testing and substation construction
• Leadership skills for managing project crews
• Proficient in MS Office and testing software
• Valid US driver's license with willingness to travel extensively (80%)
• Eligible to work for Hitachi Energy in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex field service operations independently
• Deliver high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair services
• Exceed customer expectations by anticipating needs
• Troubleshoot and prevent equipment failures
• Resolve electrical or mechanical issues autonomously
• Identify sales and business development opportunities
• Suggest operational improvements and enhance customer service
• Lead field service projects with direction and analysis.
