Field Project ManagerSaber Power Services seeks a Field Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of high voltage construction projects in the field. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to technical specifications. The Field Project Manager serves as the primary on-site liaison between field crews, subcontractors, engineering teams, and clients
Duties and Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day field operations for high voltage construction projects (substations, transmission lines, etc.)
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, project daily reports, EVM tables and resource allocations
- Ensure adherence to company safety standards, OSHA regulations, and client-specific safety programs
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project alignment
- Conduct daily site meetings, safety briefings, and job hazard analysis
- Oversee material deliveries, equipment needs, and work sequencing
- Review and approve timesheets, field reports, and daily construction documentation
- Monitor and document progress, identify risks, and resolve field-related issues
- Ensure quality control and compliance with all applicable electrical codes and standards
- Maintain clear communication with Project Managers and executive leadership regarding project status
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by management.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field; direct experience in the high voltage utility or in industrial electrical construction will be considered in lieu of degree
- 5 years of experience in high voltage utility or industrial electrical construction
- PMP Certification or equivalent project management training is highly preferred
- OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project
- Proven experience managing substation, transmission, or distribution projects in the field
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices, including NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910.269
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications
- Skills:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient with scheduling tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel or remain on site as required
