Project Manager Responsibilities- Manage multidisciplinary project requirements, design schedules, and budgets.
- Assist in defining and developing project scope.
- Develop and negotiate fee proposals
- Conduct client meetings and site visits.
- Estimate labor hours, calculate direct costs, and establish competitive but healthy project fees.
- Monitor budgets, track schedules, and measure quality benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to expand OEI's client base and secure repeat business.
- Identify deviations from established project scope, schedule, or budget and implement timely corrective actions.
- Ensure project deliverables meet contractual requirements and client expectations.
Project Manager Qualifications- Demonstrated desire to learn, grow, and contribute to challenging and rewarding projects.
- Strong interest in mentoring and leading less experienced team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years experience leading projects for the military or other federal agencies (e.g., the Department of Veterans Affairs) is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Design management experience.
- Registered Architect (RA/AIA) or Professional Engineer (PE, Mechanical or Electrical), a plus
- Past experience working for the DOD/DOW in a project management role a plus.
