Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CCFP (Canadian College of Family Practitioners) certification.
• Membership with CMPA (Canadian Medical Protective Association) is required.
• Current license from CPSBC (College of Physicians of BC) needed, either Full or Provisional.
• Specific training in Palliative Care required for relevant programs, with various acceptable criteria outlined.
• Fellowship in Addiction Medicine may be necessary, alongside completion of the POATSP (Provincial Opioid Addiction Treatment Support Program).
