Community Medical and Dental Care, is seeking an experienced FNP. We offer a very competitive hourly rate and a wonderful working environment.
Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with other members of the team to provide examination and treatment of patients.
- Perform assessment and treatment of acute injuries, infections, and illnesses.
- Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities.
- Keep and maintain appropriate records relating to all professional services rendered.
- Prepare and review reports, claims, and correspondences. Ensure that records and documentation are in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
- Provide in-office and telemedicine services to patients.
- Prescribe medication and treatment for patients.
- Recommend appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Refer patients to other physicians or appropriate resources when needed.
- Follow up on all outside referrals, labs, and consults.
Qualifications:- Previous experience of at least 2 years as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to establish a healthy rapport with patients and their families.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to independently evaluate patients, establish differential diagnoses, order necessary tests/investigations as appropriate, and formulate treatment plans.
- Practice evidence-based medicine and update medical knowledge based on the latest treatment guidelines and recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
