Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Family Medicine Physician, you will join our established, comprehensive Urgent Care practice with Mercy Medical Group (MMG) in Sacramento, California. You will play a pivotal role in growing our family medicine department by providing compassionate and expert services to the community, contributing to a physician-led, patient-focused medical group environment.
In this role, you will provide compassionate and expert care through diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions. You will collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including 6 physicians, 1 APPs, RN, LVN, and MAs, to support the holistic well-being of patients within a busy clinic that operates from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM Monday through Friday, and 8 AM to 4 PM on weekends and holidays.
To be successful, you will be a skilled, board-eligible or board-certified, and compassionate Family Medicine physician with strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, comprehensive care within a community-focused practice. The position offers a highly desirable work-life balance, supported by a schedule of 165 twelve-hour shifts per year, and full patient coverage when off-duty.
- Deliver comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of urgent health conditions.
- Work collaboratively with our integrated clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to MMG's standards of care.
- Actively contribute to a positive and efficient patient experience.
We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:
- Full time and Part time options available.
- Guaranteed base salary of $290,000 - $297,000 annually

Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
- Active California medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA certification
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
