Job Description:

Title: Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine)

Location: Gales Ferry, CT (Southeastern Connecticut)

Schedule: Flexible Full-Time (4 days/week) or Part-Time (min. 3 days/week)

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join Gales Ferry Medical Group, a premier independent practice that has served Southeastern Connecticut since 1970. We pride ourselves on our deep community roots, delivering high-quality, personalized healthcare in a supportive and collaborative environment.

  • Comprehensive Primary Care: Join a long-standing practice offering a full scope of outpatient services to a diverse patient population ages 18+. This includes preventative health, acute care, and chronic disease management, ensuring a varied and rewarding clinical experience focused on the whole patient.
  • Collaborative & Patient-Centered Approach: We believe in a team-based model that prioritizes the patient-provider relationship. With a manageable volume of 18-22 patients per day, you are empowered to emphasize preventive care and health maintenance strategies, supported by a staff dedicated to operational excellence.
  • Forward-Thinking Team Environment: You will be joining an established, physician-led group with two physicians and 3 advanced practitioners. Our practice culture is built on mutual respect and professional support, utilizing efficient workflows and modern EMR systems to minimize administrative burdens and maximize your time with patients.
