Facilities & Safety ManagerLocation: Seminole, Oklahoma
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM (7am-4pm would be fine too)
Salary: $110K
This position is a combination of
Facilities Management (75%) & Safety Management (25%). The Facilities & Safety Manager will oversee the facility's day-to-day operations, maintenance scheduling, waste management, and workplace safety compliance.
Requirements- Bachelor of Science degree required; a degree in Fire Protection or Safety Engineering or Environmental Health Science (EHS) may be a good fit.
- Experience with OSHA regulations and workplace safety.
- Experience with facilities management, waste management, and hazardous waste disposal.
- Strong personality, confidence, and the ability to stand their ground when necessary.
Facilities Management - 75%- Oversee general facility operations, cleanliness, trash removal, and waste management.
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and ensure compliance with applicable Oklahoma Dept of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations.
- Establish regular maintenance schedules for manufacturing machinery.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance to ensure work is completed properly; this person does always not need to perform repairs themselves but can if capable.
- Manage and oversee one direct report.
- Ensure the facility and manufacturing equipment are properly maintained and operating efficiently.
Safety Management - 25%- Oversee OSHA compliance and workplace safety initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate safety training for new employees, including the required FFA training through MyFAA
- Assist with workers' compensation reports and job-related injury management.
- Help ensure workplace safety procedures and regulatory requirements are followed.
