  • Oversee the Access Control System including alarm and surveillance systems
  • Provide necessary resources for effective warehouse services and operations
  • Ensure compliance with air quality standards and environmental controls

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and maintenance of the Facility Management Plan (FMP) addressing warehouse and inventory management requirements, including strategies for adapting to evolving Government needs, managing surplus inventory, and disposing of Government property

  • Refines, implements, and maintains SOPs for warehouse operations, conducting semi-annual reviews and ensuring compliance with applicable Government Standards and Regulations

  • Designs the facility to handle and store materials and equipment in accordance with acceptable industry practices and Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) regulations

  • Implement adequate physical and technical security systems to limit warehouse access to contractor staff and approved DOS personnel, ensuring physical security in accordance with 12 FAM 620

  • Manages the facility Access Control System (ACS) consisting of monitored alarm systems and installed security cameras at all entrances and exits with 24/7/365 recording capability

  • Furnishes all management, labor, supplies, equipment, materials, and transportation to perform warehouse services

  • Ensures adequate air quality levels and ambient environmental controls, adjusting when industry standards or best practices change

  • Provides workspace for the COR, GTM(s), or other CA and CST representatives within the facility

Qualifications:

Required –

  • BA/BS degree and 4+ years of related experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Experience supporting facility, warehouse, logistics, inventory, or Government property management operations within a complex operational environment

  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, or maintaining facility and warehouse procedures, SOPs, operational plans, and compliance documentation

  • Experience with inventory control, material handling, shipping and receiving, equipment storage, surplus property management, and/or property disposition processes

  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and industry standards related to warehouse operations, workplace safety, material storage, and facility management

  • Experience supporting physical security requirements, including facility access controls, alarm systems, video surveillance, visitor access, and other security measures

  • Ability to coordinate facility requirements across operations, logistics, security, property management, and technical teams while maintaining accurate records and reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to identify facility or operational issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain compliance with established Government, contractual, safety, and security requirements

$59,600 - $122,100
