Job Description: The Facilities Manager will oversee the daily operations of a single facility, serving as the primary subject matter expert on building maintenance, systems, vendors, and workplace safety. This role is ideal for someone with strong facilities knowledge who can assess issues, coordinate solutions, and make informed recommendations to leadership.

Key Responsibilities: - Oversee facilities operations and maintenance for a building
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules
- Manage relationships and communication with third-party vendors
- Obtain quotes, evaluate options, and recommend appropriate solutions for facility issues
- Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, water, fire/life safety, and security
- Coordinate required inspections, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Address facility needs such as plumbing, water heater issues, landscaping, janitorial repairs, and general building maintenance
- Oversee the Facilities Supervisor and provide guidance on day-to-day onsite operations
- Monitor work orders and maintenance requests through a ticketing system
- Partner with internal departments on building-related needs, safety, technology, and employee concerns
- Support emergency preparedness, workplace safety, and business continuity initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve building operations, processes, and the overall employee experience
Qualifications: - 5-7 years of facilities management or operations experience
- Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
- Experience working with outside contractors and service providers
- Ability to assess facility issues and provide thoughtful recommendations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable interacting regularly with employees throughout the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Facilities management certification is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be comfortable working in a fully onsite environment
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 lbs. and regularly perform activities such as bending, reaching, squatting, and lifting
