Your Day to Day as a Facilities Management & Infrastructure Planning Project Planner: - Build and maintains Facility and Equipment project schedules.
- Produces and maintains work orders, tracks weekly time sheets and provides project updates.
- Work closely with the FM&IP Projecct Master Planner and Scheduler.
- Assist with tasks planning, communicating closely with the trade supervision and foreman for each trade to develop the most efficient apporach for the overall project.
- Ensure tasks are being worked in the field to align with the weekly work plan.
- Produce issue logs for each project.
- Track and provide financial reports and projections to Engineering and Project Managers.
- Track and report percent complete, manpower tracking, and forecasted task start and end dates for other key attributes.
- Update the percent complete status and actual costs for all WBS tasks with each project.
- Work closely with project team members to align daily/weekly work plans.
- Develop weekly/monthly reports, summarizing milestones, risks, and cost&job performance.
- Support schedule impact analysis when issues or discoveries arise.
- Create and posts mass communications and other associated tasks.
- Produce and maintain SAP work orders, and provide information for equipment numbers and maintenance plans.
- Share responsibilities of maintaining site access for vendors and visitors.
- Track submittals and provide feedback to requestors.
- Coordinate deliveries to ongoing work around facility operations and limited staging areas.
- Manage expediting documents and control closeout materials.
- Work with outside contractors and vendors.
- Communicate with in-plant personnel to schedule project work.
Required Qualifications: - A bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required.
- Must demonstrate excellent experience interpreting project schedules/Gantt charts.
- Must be proficient in the use of MicroStation and MS Suite.
- Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.

Pay: $75,180 - $139,620
The base salary range for this position in Virginia (US-VA) at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,180 and $139,620 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
