Description The Experience Design Supervisor combines creativity, technology, and team leadership to create meaningful brand experiences across a wide range of digital, physical, and emerging channels. This role is responsible for envisioning and developing intuitive, scalable, and engaging experiences across platforms including web, mobile, VR/AR, wearables, immersive environments, and other evolving media. A hands-on creative leader, the Experience Design Supervisor designs complete digital experiences while helping guide the work of Experience Designers and Senior Experience Designers, ensuring solutions align with campaign strategy, brand standards, accessibility expectations, and the needs of healthcare professional and patient audiences.
The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for typography, composition, interaction design, and visual storytelling. They are comfortable supervising and working on projects from concept through execution, creating thoughtful digital experiences that balance business objectives, audience needs, and creative excellence.
Success in this role requires the ability to partner closely with UX, technology, copy, conceptual teams, account, and strategy to turn complex healthcare information into experiences that are clear, engaging, behaviorally useful, and built to perform.
*Must be in PST time zone Responsibilities- Design digital and experiential solutions that align with healthcare campaigns for HCP, patient, and consumer audiences.
- Envision and develop intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions across web, mobile, VR/AR, and emerging platforms.
- Create design concepts, prototypes, animations, walkthroughs, storyboards, and presentations that help teams understand what should be built and why.
- Translate brand hallmarks, identity systems, typography, design theory, and campaign strategy into digital and non-traditional media executions.
- Partner with UX, developers, copywriters, art directors, strategists, account teams, and technologists to ensure ideas are seamless, executable, accessible, and strategically sound.
- Work with teams to test features, review functionality, and incorporate feedback into design iterations.
- Present creative work clearly, with the ability to explain the idea, the interactions, the user value, and the role the experience plays in the larger campaign.
- Ensure experience design work produced by Experience Designers is consistent with brand guidelines, campaign strategy, and established creative standards.
- Assist Experience Design leadership in mentoring team members, reviewing work, developing talent, and supporting career growth.
- Help assign tasks, manage workloads, review work, and inspire the team to deliver against high-quality standards.
- Contribute to strategic and tactical discussions, bringing ideas that connect creativity, technology, audience behavior, and business needs.
- Stay adaptable as healthcare, technology, design tools, audience expectations, and regulatory considerations continue to evolve.
Qualification Requirements- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in digital design, experience design, interactive design, or a related creative discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Figma modern design tools including Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Ability to work in Figma design systems, create components and modify without breaking these systems.
- Experience designing for digital platforms, including web and mobile, experience in VR/AR & 3D or other emergent channels.
- Strong understanding of brand identity, typography, visual systems, design theory, and how those elements translate into interactive experiences.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with UX, development, copy, account, strategy, and creative teams.
- Experience mentoring designers, reviewing work, supporting team development, and helping maintain quality across assigned projects.
- A working understanding of healthcare communications, medical terminology, regulatory considerations, and the importance of accuracy in healthcare advertising is beneficial.
Qualification Requirements: - 4+ years of professional experience in digital design, product design, experience design, or related disciplines.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, auto-layout, prototyping, variables, and collaborative workflows.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design, and digital craft.
- Deep understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, layout systems, and modern interface design principles.
- Experience creating design systems, reusable components, and scalable digital frameworks.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and modern digital design tools.
- Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and effectively to multidisciplinary teams.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $$115,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
