As Executive Producer, and Head of Production you will lead the Live Service operations for Apex Legends one of the world's most popular battle royale games, engaging tens of millions of players globally across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
Based hybrid/on-site in Chatsworth, CA or Vancouver Canada, you will oversee full-scale game production, drive our seasonal content roadmap, and manage live operations. Reporting to the Franchise GM and partnering with the Apex Leadership team, you will unify development strategy, ensure executional excellence, and scale delivery across our global teams and EA publishing partners.

As the Executive Producer Head of Production, you will lead the development operations of the live service for Apex Legends . You will own the end-to-end execution of our seasonal content roadmap, shaping the production systems, standards, and global team structures that will define the next chapter of this iconic franchise.
In this role, you will lead a world-class, multi-location production team and partner with creative, technical, and publishing leaders to deliver seamless, player-first live experiences to millions of fans around the world
Responsibilities:
- Lead live service production and partner with heads of Creative and Technology to drive the multiyear roadmap, managing seasonal content delivery, live events, and long-term feature development across PC, console, and emerging platforms
- Drive operational excellence and manage the business rhythm of the franchise, including milestone forecasting, resource allocation, budget management, and the executive greenlight process
- Optimize development workflows, design and scale pipelines, establish clear KPIs, and continuously improve team development velocity, release stability, and cross-functional handoffs
- Champion cross-functional alignment and partner with QA, User Experience, Engineering, Outsourcing, and Publishing partners to remove development bottlenecks and ensure highly coordinated global execution
- Grow and mentor teams and cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and sustainable team culture. Directly manage and support the career development of senior production leaders across our distributed studios
Qualifications:
- Extensive AAA Live Operations Experience with proven experience leading development and post-launch operations for large-scale, multi-platform FPS live service games (10+ years experience)
- Progressive strategic production leadership experience designing development pipelines, managing multi-million dollar budgets, and leading distributed, cross-functional teams through complex release cycles
- Organizational scale success in building structure, managing resource planning, and driving operational alignment for large-scale game development teams (100+ members)
- Agile Expertise with a mastery of iterative development methodologies, feature scoping, risk mitigation strategies, and industry-standard tracking tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence)
- Influence & Stakeholder Management with a track record of driving consensus, building trust, and presenting plans clearly to senior executives and publishing partners
Pay Transparency - North AmericaCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$225,500 - $311,100 CAD
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$249,200 - $361,600 USD
Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and other incentive programs.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
