JOB DESCRIPTION

Chase Card Services is seeking a visionary, commercially driven executive to drive the Authorized User (AU) business as a standalone growth engine across the Sapphire, Freedom, and Slate portfolios. Today’s cardmembers increasingly manage spending across families, partners, and trusted individuals. The next generation of AU experiences will be powered by a dynamic lineup of card choices, real-time spend controls, personalized benefits and rewards, and enhanced servicing experiences that make every Authorized User feel like a primary cardmember relationship. 


Create customer-first Authorized User experiences that help people confidently manage shared spending across families and trusted individuals. You’ll shape the multi-year strategy, define compelling value propositions, and partner across teams to deliver strong financial outcomes with disciplined risk and servicing.

As a Authorized User Portfolio Strategy Lead in Card Portfolio Strategy, you own the strategy that drives the Authorized User business across consumer credit card portfolios. You’ll set the roadmap across segmentation, pricing, positioning, and servicing, while managing financial performance and building investment cases for senior leadership. You’ll lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment, using clear KPIs and operating rigor to deliver measurable results.

  • Drive the multi-year Authorized User business strategy across segmentation, value proposition, pricing, and competitive positioning
  • Own the Authorized User business P&L, including revenue and expense drivers across card portfolios
  • Set annual financial targets and operating plans, and deliver against commitments with transparency and rigor
  • Build business cases for new investments and present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
  • Define risk and servicing strategies that support multiple users on a shared account while meeting control expectations
  • Establish KPI definitions and an operating cadence, including dashboards, performance reviews, and executive reporting
  • Lead cross-functional partners across product, risk, servicing, analytics, and finance to translate strategy into roadmaps and measurable outcomes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10 years of experience in credit card marketing, portfolio strategy, or card economics
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including unit economics, forecasting, scenario planning, ROI trade-offs, and investment prioritization
  • Demonstrated customer-first mindset with a track record of improving customer experiences
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional decision-making with senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to risk management, controls, and operating procedures
  • Strong operating discipline, including governance, documentation, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and executive readouts
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience owning P&L performance for a large consumer portfolio or product line
  • Experience developing pricing and value proposition strategies in a competitive market
  • Experience partnering with analytics teams to diagnose performance drivers and optimize outcomes
  • Ability to influence senior leadership through clear storytelling and structured recommendations
  • Experience building servicing strategies that improve satisfaction while managing risk and cost
