POSITION SUMMARY
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and success of the community. This includes driving occupancy, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and team engagement while ensuring a high-quality resident experience.
This role leads all day-to-day operations and is accountable for building a culture that reflects the mission and values of the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all community operations including resident care, staffing, and financial performance
Drive occupancy growth through strong sales leadership and community outreach
Build and maintain a high-performing, engaged team
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Maintain high levels of resident and family satisfaction
Conduct daily leadership meetings focused on census, staffing, and operations
Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control
Partner with regional leadership to execute strategic initiatives
Oversee marketing efforts, tours, and lead conversion performance
Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare operations
Proven success in driving occupancy and managing financial performance
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and operational standards
Experience leading multi-department teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up or growth environment
Valid driver's license required
