Job DescriptionThe Entry-Level Electrical Engineer - Examinations Infrastructure Support will assist in maintaining and improving the electrical systems, tools, and facilities used to conduct examinations and tests of hardware components. Our unit's mission is to provide robust, reliable examination infrastructure that enables accurate assessment of critical hardware components. Responsibilities include supporting the setup, configuration, and checkout of electrical examination systems (such as power supplies, signal conditioning, instrumentation, data acquisition and control hardware), troubleshooting electrical and electronic issues, and coordinating with senior engineers, technicians, and IT/maintenance personnel to resolve hardware and software problems. The engineer will help maintain schematics and wiring diagrams, documentation, configuration records, and equipment status, and will contribute to system readiness activities, calibrations, and functional checks to ensure reliable and safe execution of examinations.
This position is suited for a recent electrical engineering graduate with strong technical aptitude in circuits, instrumentation, and control systems, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly. The engineer will work in a team environment, supporting exam operations, participating in post-exam reviews and continuous improvement efforts, and helping to identify opportunities to increase the reliability, usability, and maintainability of electrical examination infrastructure. Clear written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and adherence to electrical safety, security, and quality requirements are essential.
Required Combination of Knowledge and SkillBachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field.

Pay Range$63,900.00 - $97,800.00 annually
