Event Manager, Fine Fragrance, Perfumery & Beauty - New York, NYLocation: New York, NY, USBring the world of perfumery to life through distinctive industry and client experiences. As the Event Manager, Fine Fragrance, you'll lead end-to-end event execution, connect creative and commercial teams, and ensure every detail reflects our brand, innovation and the needs of our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Own end-to-end planning and delivery of fine fragrance industry events, client experiences, conferences and executive visits
- Manage event roadmaps, timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies, while maintaining clear visibility across all workstreams
- Coordinate creative and content production, internal marketing teams, vendors, suppliers and building management
- Maintain the external event calendar and manage client, guest and speaker lists, invitations and follow-up communication
- Align leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, drive decisions and remove blockers to keep delivery on track
- Connect creative, perfumery, marketing, commercial and event-production teams to deliver a seamless, brand-right experience
You Bring:- 7+ years of experience leading complex client, corporate or industry events; Fragrance, beauty, luxury or creative-industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, vendors, deadlines, risks and dependencies from concept through execution
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Highly autonomous, organized and solutions-oriented, with sound judgment and a proactive approach to removing blockers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project-management tools; Ability to travel and support events outside standard business hours as needed
- Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, communications, hospitality, business or related field
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $110,000-$130,000.
