Proactively orchestrate unforgettable meetings and events within the Client Center, delivering a personalized, high-touch experience that consistently exceeds client expectations. As the central liaison, you will collaborate seamlessly with catering, audio-visual, and facilities partners to ensure flawless execution from start to finish. Your ability to anticipate client needs, resolve challenges swiftly, and drive innovative solutions will set you apart. As a Senior Events Management Associate in the Client Center, you will be the promoting force behind exceptional meetings and events, serving as the single point of contact for clients throughout the planning process. By partnering closely with event teams, you will ensure every detail is managed with precision and every client receives a tailored, high-touch experience. Your expertise in client engagement, problem-solving, and decisive action will shine as you navigate complex event requirements with composure and professionalism. Job responsibilities
  • Proactively oversee meetings and events, collaborating with catering, audio-visual, and facilities teams to exceed client expectations while providing personalized, high-Effectively address day-to-day client challenges, ensuring a consistently positive experience.
  • Consistently maintain a "can-do" attitude, delivering exceptional service and leading by example.
  • Supportively assist with staff coverage and day-to-day projects at the center to ensure operational continuity.
  • Regularly participate in daily operations meetings and weekly reviews, spot-checking planning details and providing feedback and direction for the team.
  • Diligently execute pre-conference and post-conference calls/meetings, ensuring all event details are managed effectively.
  • Strategically ensure optimal space usage to meet yearly goals and maximize resource efficiency.
  • Thoroughly conduct mid-year and annual staff reviews, identifying training and development needs to strengthen team performance.
  • Innovatively drive service enhancements by presenting new ideas and solutions to elevate client satisfaction.
  • Reliably cover essential reception desk functions, including answering calls, returning emails promptly, and greeting/escorting clients to their meeting rooms.
  • Expertly master the EMS system for detailing reservations, accurate reporting, and prioritizing new meeting room requests to prevent escalations.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor degree required
  • Five plus years' experience in the Hospitality Industry, 5-Star hotels, Event Planning and Food & Beverage with high touch customer service, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues professionally and warmly
  • Ability to effectively manage guest experiences and expectations using a high level of tact and diplomacy
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proven experience in managing and developing a team, including conducting performance reviews and identifying training needs
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools are essential, and knowledge of the EMS booking system
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse environment
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts to cover conference center hours and locations
