Job DescriptionOverviewVisa Corporate Technology Support is transforming how technology and event services are delivered to employees and executives across the organization. The AV & Event Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting executive meetings, corporate broadcasts, hybrid events, and live event production across Visa's Foster City and Mission Rock campuses.
This is a highly visible, customer-facing position that combines hands-on AV support, live broadcast operations, event execution, and executive engagement. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted technical partner, ensuring seamless experiences for executive leadership, internal stakeholders, and external presenters during high-profile meetings and events.
The ideal candidate will bring strong event production expertise, experience supporting hybrid and live broadcast environments, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Live Events and Video Production Operations.
Key Focus AreasExecutive Support & Customer Experience- Deliver white-glove AV Operational support for executive meetings, leadership forums, and high-visibility corporate events.
- Interact directly with senior leaders and stakeholders with a high degree of professionalism and executive presence.
- Ensure meeting and event technologies are fully functional before and during events.
Live Event & Broadcast Operations- Support live broadcasts, Town Halls, Visa TV productions, and hybrid events.
- Manage technical production workflows to ensure seamless experiences for in-person and remote participants.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in real time to minimize disruptions.
Event Execution & Operational Excellence- Coordinate and support concurrent events while maintaining exceptional service levels.
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and event stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.
- Continuously improve operational processes and event support standards.
Key Skills & ResponsibilitiesAV & Technical Support- Provide Level 2 break/fix and support for AV technologies across conference rooms, executive spaces, digital signage and event venues.
- Validate presentation content, audio, video, and collaboration technologies prior to meetings and events.
- Troubleshoot AV, audio, video, and conferencing issues in real time.
- Support conference room technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, audio systems, displays, cameras, microphones, and presentation systems.
- Assist with preventative maintenance and operational readiness of AV equipment.
Live Broadcast & Hybrid Event Production- Support and execute live broadcasts, leadership Town Halls, webcast events, and Visa TV productions.
- Operate video switching platforms such as Ross Carbonite, TriCaster, or similar broadcast production systems.
- Manage presenter transitions, scene switching, graphics integration, and production workflows during live events.
- Support hybrid event environments with both in-room and remote presenters.
- Experience managing collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Webex or Microsoft Teams.
Event Planning & Delivery- Assist in developing event plans, production schedules, timelines, and run-of-show documentation.
- Coordinate technical logistics, staffing, equipment requirements, and production needs.
- Support event setup, operation, and breakdown.
- Manage multiple events and competing priorities simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration- Partner with event organizers, executive assistants, production teams, and business stakeholders to align on event requirements.
- Serve as a technical liaison between Visa and AV production vendors.
- Participate in event planning meetings and pre-event briefings.
- Provide regular updates regarding event readiness, risks, and technical considerations.
Post-Event Support & Continuous Improvement- Participate in post-event reviews and lessons-learned discussions.
- Collect stakeholder feedback and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute to operational documentation and best practices for future events.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:- 2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience supporting AV operations, corporate events, live productions, or hybrid event environments.
- Demonstrated success supporting executive-facing events and high-visibility broadcasts.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in live production environments.
Information for US ApplicantsFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $77,700.00 to $ 120,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
