Description
JOB SUMMARY: Provide primary health care and perform medical services under the direction of clinic physicians, and following established standards of practice. Consult with patients, discuss their health care needs and offer advice.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to an Emergency Department environment.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally lifts objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Requires exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Requires working under stress in emergency situations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Requires graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.
• 1 year of relevant ER experience preferred.
• Requires a valid North Dakota driver's license and must maintain insurability with the facility insurance carrier.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
This is a full-time position, working 24-hour shifts. Every third weekend required. Housing available to stay on site during shift.
