This position is in the Equity Research department covering the
Developed Markets Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment Industries (Global semiconductors ex-emerging markets). Experience researching and recommending equities within the industry is preferred, while demonstrating strong working knowledge of a substantial portion of the investment universe. The ability to partner with existing Portfolio Managers (PM's) will be important, as you will serve as the industry expert for security selection across multiple portfolio mandates.
This position will be in Stamford, CT.
Essential Responsibilities- Based on fundamental research, you will formulate and recommend equity semiconductor investments.
- Conduct your research through collaboration with other sector analysts, regional teams, and portfolio managers.
- You will provide industry insight, company specific analysis, and actionable stock recommendations using expertise to positively impact performance.
- You will manage a "best ideas" US and International sector portfolio (as part of a team of other sector analysts) that serves as a communication vehicle for ideas and trades to PM's.
- Construct and maintain financial models and forecasts to support analysis and investment recommendations.
- Communicate and present your primary research on investment opportunities, ideas, and updates to portfolio managers.
- Develop and maintain regular contact with company management teams and industry sources, leveraging company and industry publications, sell-side analysts, and other resources to inform insights, analysis, and conclusions.

Qualifications/Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree, MBA and/or CFA preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in an investment management organization preferably in the applicable asset class, or a financial services environment
- 5 years of experience as a research analyst, preferably in the semiconductor industry
- Strong history of demonstrated performance
- Experience using Bloomberg
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills
Salary Range: $120,000 - $202,500 Annual
