Short Job DescriptionThe ideal Resident Field Mechanic is an "A" mechanic and responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment on customers' job sites.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot mechanical problems
- Perform scheduled maintenance
- Use computer diagnostic tools
- Order parts as needed
Requirements- Advanced knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain systems
- Valid driver's license (CDL is preferred)
- Own tools
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred
