Equipment Engineer

We are looking for an Equipment Engineer to join our Group and play a key role in driving operational excellence through the development, optimization, and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and processes. In this role, you work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve safety, efficiency, product quality, and equipment performance while supporting the growth and innovation of our operations.

As an Equipment Engineer, you will partner closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and global engineering teams to develop and optimize equipment solutions that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This position is part of the Production Center (PC) Engineering organization within Endress+Hauser Level+Pressure USA and plays a critical role in advancing operational excellence and supporting the future growth of our manufacturing capabilities.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:
  • Lead the design, installation, commissioning, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment and production technologies.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions that increase productivity, quality and reliability.
  • Manage equipment-related projects from concept through implementation, including timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communication
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain equipment standards, preventive maintenance standards, preventative maintenance strategies, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Support automation, digitalization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve manufacturing performance and data visibility.
  • Conduct root cause investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend equipment, tooling, and process improvements to optimize safety, quality, delivery and cost.
  • Work with external suppliers, contractors, and global engineering teams to specify, purchase, and implement equipment solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.


What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience supporting, designing, troubleshooting, or improving manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing principles, automation systems, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve technical and business objectives.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment documentation, specifications, and engineering standards.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and global engineering stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with engineering software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
