Full Job Description

We are currently looking for skilled Electrical Engineer with EPOS and ESD experience.

In this role, you’ll take on engineering assignments spanning the research, development, design, and manufacture of test fixtures and systems for characterization of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and EPOS (Electrical Pulsed OverStress) performance of microelectronic components.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform design development and coordinate manufacturing of test fixtures.
  • Develop and configure software for data collection and analysis.
  • Write test proposals and test plans for performing ESD/EOS testing of microelectronics.
  • Write operating and test procedures for the ESD/EOS test equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations for in-process design and review meetings.
  • Write sections of test reports including test setups, data collected, and data analysis.
  • Research test methodologies and test equipment for ESD/EOS testing that conform to military standards.
  • Verify and adhere to engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field, plus at least 3 years of related experience (or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with testing of microelectronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits.
  • Comfortable configuring and adapting custom software on ESD/EPOS test equipment for specific test setups.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and software applications.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a Secret clearance.

Preferred qualifications

  • ESD or EOS testing experience.
  • Experience developing or scripting data-acquisition / analysis software using Python or LabVIEW.
  • Experience or knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes.
  • Active Secret clearance.

Compensation Details:

$95,000-$140,000 annually
