Responsibilities
Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and grow our Natural Resources Environmental team in the panhandle. This position focuses on environmental permitting, NEPA support, coastal and marine resource management, waterfront infrastructure, transportation projects, and environmental compliance for public and private sector clients throughout Florida.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience supporting federal projects, waterfront development, ports, dredging, coastal resiliency, and marine construction. USACE, NEPA, coastal permitting, marine environmental compliance and FDOT experience are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Biology, Marine biology, or other degree relevant to the practice of Environmental Consulting
Minimum 10 years of related experience
Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS), Professional Arborist, Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred, or AAUS Certified Scientific Diver following guidelines in EM 385-1-1
Preferred Skills and Abilities
FDOT project experience the PD&E process and ETDM coordination
NEPA experience with Categorical Exclusions (CE), Environmental Assessments (EA), and Environmental Impact Statements (EIS)
FEMA EHP coordination
USFWS, NOAA, and FWC coordination
USACE permitting experience including 404 permitting
FDEP permitting including CCCL permitting
Water Management District Permitting experience
Existing agency and client relationships
Ports, dredging, and coastal resiliency experience
Assessment of benthic and aquatic vegetation
Protected species monitoring
