Full Job Description

As an experienced Project Manager in our Health & Safety practice group you will play a crucial role on our Environmental, Health & Safety consulting team, contributing to the success of our projects and helping us deliver outstanding results to our clients.

Responsibilities

· Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships and support business development activities.

· Prepare scopes, proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for moderate to complex projects.

· Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, subcontractors, laboratory coordination, and client communications.

· Lead technical projects from planning and field execution through reporting and closeout

· Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance and review.

· Perform and manage industrial hygiene assessments, including:

· Employee exposure monitoring and personal/area air sampling.

· Noise dosimetry and sound pressure level surveys.

· Indoor air quality and mold assessments.

· Industrial ventilation evaluations.

· Heat/cold stress, PPE, and respiratory protection assessments.

· Lead process safety projects, including:

· PSM and RMP program development and compliance audits.

· Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, What-If, and Checklist methodologies.

· Evaluation of PSM/RMP program elements and development and tracking of corrective actions and recommendations.

· Develop and deliver occupational health, safety, and process safety training.

· Evaluate findings against applicable OSHA, EPA, and recognized industry standards and develop practical recommendations.

· Prepare and review technical reports, sampling plans, audit reports, and other project documentation.

· Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets

Qualifications

· Candidate has 5 to 10 years of direct safety compliance and/or industrial hygiene experience.

· BS degree or higher in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health/Safety, Safety or Chemical Engineering, or related field.

· Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO), Safety, Health, & Environmental Professional (SHEP) or Specialist in Safety & Health (SSH) preferred

· Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OSHA regulations and guidance as they apply to industrial, energy, and commercial clients.

· Detail-oriented, motivated, analytical thinker, problem solver with a driven work ethic.

· Excellent technical writing, public speaking, communication and critical thinking skills.

· Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

· Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
