DescriptionWe are seeking a Software Engineer to make significant impact using your JAVA and NiFi skills to support a critical back-endsystem that support customers across multiple parties? If so, consider applying to ANSWRLAKE project, and it's experienced team, that is positioned to integrate with organizations analytic system and presentation tools to provide a complete picture to the analyst cadre.Responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and operation of ANSWERLAKE, a backend system that provides compliant storage and access for analytic results and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that support enterprise outcomes.
This position may allow for partial telework.ClearanceA current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
ExperienceTwenty (20) years-experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required skills:
- Experience using the Linux command line interface
- Experience developing microservices using Java and Spring
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and containerd
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience using system monitoring tools including Grafana and Prometheus
- Experience using Git for version control
Desired skills:
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and tools such as GitLab CI and ArgoCD
- Experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch for data indexing and retrieval
- Experience with NiFi for dataflow management and ingestion
- Experience with the Amazon HCI platform
- Strong debugging, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in an Agile development environment and on a multi disciplinary team
