About the RoleGreenPath Financial Wellness is looking for an
Enterprise Risk Lead to help strengthen how we identify, understand, and respond to risk and opportunity across the organization.
This role will help advance enterprise risk management as an organizational capability, giving leaders the insights, tools, and frameworks they need to make informed decisions with confidence. You'll partner across the organization to connect strategic, operational, and emerging risks, strengthen resilience, and help GreenPath balance risk, opportunity, innovation, and mission impact.

What You'll DoLead and strengthen enterprise risk management- Maintain and continuously improve GreenPath's enterprise risk management framework, governance practices, assessment methodologies, reporting standards, and escalation processes.
- Help establish consistent risk definitions, assessment criteria, tolerances, scoring methods, and reporting practices.
- Coordinate enterprise risk governance activities, including the Internal Risk Management Committee.
- Prepare clear and meaningful risk reporting for executive leadership and Board committees.
- Provide visibility into significant risks, emerging threats, interconnected exposures, and areas of concentrated risk.
Provide risk advisory and decision support- Serve as a trusted thought partner to leaders, project sponsors, and cross-functional teams.
- Help teams evaluate uncertainty, opportunities, assumptions, dependencies, tradeoffs, and potential impacts.
- Facilitate risk-informed discussions during strategic planning, major projects, operational decisions, and organizational change.
- Translate complex risk information into clear options, recommendations, and actionable next steps.
Build risk capability and culture- Develop practical training, coaching, tools, resources, and awareness initiatives that strengthen risk management capabilities.
- Promote consistent enterprise risk practices across GreenPath and its affiliates.
- Encourage a culture where teams proactively identify and discuss risk while remaining focused on opportunity and innovation.
- Help leaders integrate risk considerations into planning, operations, projects, and decision-making.
Develop risk intelligence and reporting- Develop and maintain key risk indicators, monitoring processes, escalation triggers, and supporting data sources.
- Monitor risk exposure, trends, emerging issues, external developments, and cross-functional impacts.
- Create dashboards and reports that clearly communicate risk status, trends, response progress, residual risk, and areas requiring leadership attention.
- Track key risk response and mitigation commitments with designated business and project owners.
- Continuously improve the quality, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of enterprise risk information.
Support enterprise resilience and continuous improvement- Partner with business leaders and specialist functions to maintain a connected view of enterprise risks, opportunities, and interdependencies.
- Coordinate GreenPath's crisis management plan in partnership with Internal Audit, Compliance, Information Security, Business Continuity, and other assurance functions.
- Help define requirements for risk-related policies, standards, procedures, tools, and guidance.
- Use lessons learned, risk events, audit findings, performance data, and industry practices to strengthen GreenPath's risk management maturity and organizational resilience.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, audit, compliance, privacy, or a related field.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks, risk assessments, governance practices, controls, indicators, and reporting.
- Strong ability to facilitate complex, cross-functional discussions and influence without direct authority.
- Ability to turn risk analysis into clear recommendations, decisions, actions, and escalation strategies.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect risk and opportunity to strategy, operations, financial performance, technology, people, compliance, reputation, and delivery.
- Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving, facilitation, and executive-level communication skills.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, objectivity, and professional judgment.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience within financial services or another regulated environment.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, enterprise governance committees, or Board committee reporting.
- Professional certification in risk management, project management, auditing, compliance, internal controls, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing risk education, leadership development, training, or organizational capability-building programs.
